In a low-scoring contest on Sunday, the Denver Broncos managed to secure a close win over the winless New York Jets. Quarterback Bo Nix connected on a first-quarter touchdown pass and specialist Wil Lutz kicked the game-winning decisive three-pointer to seal the hard-fought win.

Defensive Display Seals Contest

Despite recording nine sacks versus Jets QB Justin Fields, the Broncos found themselves trailing 11-10 following conceding a safety in the second half. Interestingly, the Jets managed a mere 82 total net yards throughout the contest.

The Denver quarterback, who went 19 of 30 passes for 174 yards, engineered a critical 12-play, 65-yard drive that culminated in Lutz's short kick with approximately five minutes remaining.

Record Difficulties for Jets Offense

In spite of their horrendous offensive display, the Jets maintained the ball with a opportunity to drive for a possible winning score. But Fields was sacked on fourth-and-eight from the Denver 44 when head coach Aaron Glenn opted to go for it instead of sending out specialist Nick Folk for a long kick.
