Across the fiercely cutthroat realm of gaming, it's common for fresh competitors to vanish as quickly as they explode onto the stage.
However this new installment is aiming to alter that.
This is the latest entry in a established combat FPS series often described as a more realistic answer to its main competitor.
The title has seldom succeeded to rival its top competitor in terms of revenue or gamers, but evidence points to the recent entry could reduce the distance.
A trial event allowing players a opportunity to test the title in recent months set new benchmarks, and the excitement approaching its release has been massive.
But the undertaking is still a major venture for company Electronic Arts, which has reportedly spent hundreds of millions of dollars making it.

Creation Team and Studio Partnership
Four development houses are creating the title under the Battlefield Studios umbrella.

"We most likely would not be able to build and design this new game without the lessons we had in the previous title," the manager explains to the press.
One of those takeaways was to engage players engaged soon, and the team started invite-only player testing sessions not long ago.

One more absent component from Battlefield 2042 was a single-player campaign, which has been brought back in this version.
The Guildford team design director the design director is the person tasked with "ensuring those levels are as fun and compelling as possible for the players."
In spite of allegations that the size of the game had challenged the various teams working together across continents to develop the project, Fas is optimistic about the process.
"Partnering with varied backgrounds, distinct experiences, it's a very interesting environment to be engaged with on a regular basis," he shares.
"This whole approach has been an innovation but additionally very thrilling because we are partnering with team members from internationally."
As for the pressure on the crew, the director says: "We feel stress but at the same time it's exciting.
"It's a large project. It's probably the biggest that most of us have ever participated in."
Young Talent Contributes Innovative Insight
That's absolutely true of no less than an individual developer, lighting artist the artist.
This young professional creates the visual ambiance that shape the atmosphere, tone, and direction of the single-player campaign.
He finished an internship at the developer prior to securing a role there, and currently works on a part-time basis while completing his VFX degree at his school.
The developer explains he's a dedicated fan of the Battlefield series, and recalls experiencing the fourth instalment of the line at a pal's home when he was younger.
Working on it now, as his debut professional role, "doesn't feel actual."
"It's very incredible witnessing the marketing everywhere," he shares.
"Understanding that I've put my own thing into the project is really unbelievable."
